COMPARE MATERIALS & APPLICATIONS

Insulated Pallet Covers

Our factory manufactures insulated pallet covers, also called thermal pallet covers, for individual pallet loads during storage, handling and transport. Compare MPET-faced woven fabric, EPE foam composite, double-bubble composite and aluminum-foil-faced woven PE.

Choose around the external dimensions of the packed load and the protection needed during your route. These covers provide passive insulation; the complete shipping arrangement must be assessed against the cargo temperature requirements.

Review materials, dimensions and handling before choosing a packaging format.

How to Choose an Insulated Pallet Cover

Define the load first, then compare the material structure and how the cover will be handled between packing and delivery.

1. Measure the complete pallet load

Supply the packed length, width and height, including any overhang or items projecting beyond the pallet. Identify the area that needs coverage and the access needed for handling, labels or inspection.

2. Compare material and closure details

Review TP-01 woven composite, TP-02 EPE foam, TP-03 double-bubble and TP-04 foil-faced woven PE. Check the specified thickness, fixing or closure arrangement and clearance around the load rather than comparing material names alone.

3. Describe the distribution conditions

Share the cargo, route, transit duration and exposure during loading, storage and transfers. State the required temperature range and any cooling measures used. Plan how the cover will be inspected, cleaned and stored for its intended use.

Match Protection to the Shipping Unit

For protection at the full-container level, compare thermal container liners. Review the wider cold-chain shipping and temperature stabilization requirements when defining the transport arrangement.

Thermal Pallet Cover Questions

How do the four pallet-cover constructions differ?

TP-01 uses woven PE reinforcement with LDPE bonding and MPET faces. TP-02 incorporates an EPE foam layer. TP-03 uses a double-bubble core between MPET faces. TP-04 uses aluminum foil faces around woven PE. Open the individual specifications to compare the complete structures and handling details.

Which measurements are needed for a cover?

Use the outside dimensions of the fully packed pallet load, including overhang. Also explain the coverage required around the base, closure preferences and any access needed during handling. The nominal pallet footprint alone may not describe the packed load.

Does a pallet cover actively cool the cargo?

No. These are passive insulation formats. They do not actively refrigerate a load or establish a guaranteed temperature range. Assess the cargo, route, duration and any cooling measures together when planning temperature-sensitive shipments.

Should I choose a pallet cover or a container liner?

A pallet cover encloses an individual load; a container liner is installed at the container level. Consider shared containers, mixed loads, transfers and the points where the cargo needs protection. The format should follow how the shipment is grouped and handled.

What should I send when requesting a pallet-cover quote?

Provide the cargo type, external packed dimensions, number of pallet loads, route and duration, temperature requirements, preferred construction, closure needs and order quantity. Include any cleaning, reuse or application-specific requirements for discussion.

What should I compare in a reflective insulated pallet cover?

Review the complete structure rather than the reflective facing alone. TP-01 uses MPET faces with woven reinforcement, while TP-04 uses aluminum foil faces around woven PE. Compare these with the foam and bubble options, and provide the external dimensions of the packed pallet for a quotation.
